Revapin is a browser extension that adds download controls to Pinterest, so you can save pins, boards, and videos straight to your computer. Setting it up takes about two minutes, and there's no account to create. Here's the whole process.
Add it to your browser
Revapin installs from the Chrome Web Store and works in any Chromium browser, which covers Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc. The steps are the same in each:
- open the Revapin page in the Chrome Web Store;
- click Add to Chrome, then confirm in the small dialog that pops up;
- wait a couple of seconds while it installs.
That's the extension on your browser. Nothing else is required to start using it.
Pin it so it's easy to reach
After installing, click the little puzzle-piece icon in your browser's toolbar, find Revapin in the list, and click the pin icon next to it. This keeps its icon visible instead of tucked away in the menu. It's optional, but it saves you a click every time.
Open Pinterest and look for the toolbar
Go to any board or profile on Pinterest and Revapin's toolbar appears on the page. From there you tick the pins you want, or grab a whole board, and pick a format to download. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere; it all runs inside your own browser session.
First download
To check everything works, open a board, tick a pin or two, click Download, and choose a folder or ZIP. The files land in your Downloads folder at full resolution. If the toolbar doesn't appear, refresh the Pinterest tab once; a page that was already open before you installed won't have it until it reloads.
That's the entire setup. No login, no server, no configuration to wade through. Install it, open Pinterest, and the download controls are there whenever you need them.
